The Cash Game World Championship hosted by CoinPoker continues to establish itself as one of the most prestigious events in online poker. The latest edition concluded just a few days ago — this time focusing entirely on Heads-Up play, with separate brackets for both NLH and PLO.

For the first time in CGWC history, the entire event was played in a Heads-Up format. The field was intentionally exclusive, featuring only 12 NLH players and 8 PLO specialists.

The stakes were high from the start. Matches were played at a minimum of $50/$100, with players free to move higher or switch between PLO variants. All games used a 100 BB auto-reload structure and, as usual, were completely rake-free. Final standings were determined by EV BB won.

The PLO division featured a $100,000 first prize package, including a Rolex watch, along with the title of the best Heads-Up PLO player in the field. In the end, one of our users — Yodogoki — claimed the title after defeating GucciNIKE in the finals. Across the event, he won $188,354 from opponents on top of the $100K prize package.

We’re also happy to confirm that Yodogoki is a PLO Genius user. As he puts it:

I use PLO Genius every day and consider it an essential part of my study routine. I love the UI, how smooth it is, and I find it’s the only library tool that accurately reflects the bet sizes you’ll find at the tables.

Feedback like this is especially meaningful coming from players competing at the very highest level of the game.
